Frequently asked questions
The Saltrobe design is not your average size but instead loose enough for you to pull your arms inside and get changed or alternatively, simply wear as an 'over everything' outer warm layer. The fit is supposed to be an oversize style - it is not a fitted coat. Our smaller sizes are shorter in length (as seen in some of our photos) as well as a smaller overall size.
We have 3 sizes available:
• Kids/Adults Small: Suitable for ages 7 upwards or a small adult (4'5+)
• Medium/Large: Suitable for (almost everyone) 5'1 up to 6'5.
• Extra Large: Only suitable for a much taller or wider person up to 6'8.
Your SaltRobe is made for adventures and the outdoors and so it doesn't need to be washed regularly. We recommend you ONLY handwash it whenever you do need to clean it!
Due to the waterproof outer shell fabric you cannot machine wash your SaltRobe as this will damage the fabric and age the garment significantly. Never expose your Saltrobe to heat sources of any kind, drying it this way will lead to the inner lining losing its warming and quick-drying properties!
Absolutely! Just add the "Custom Embroidery" option to your basket and email us with the text you'd like embroidered on your SaltRobe — for example, your name.
If you're interested in adding a logo or custom design, we can create something unique for you! Please note, minimum order quantities apply for these types of orders. Our embroidery service is ideal for teams, clubs, schools, and similar groups.

YES! If you purchased the wrong size, the wrong colour or for any other reason you need to exchange your SaltRobe please email us at: Hello@saltrobe.ie and we will get back to you as quickly as possible (usually within 2-3 working days) with full details on how to do so.
All eligible returns are accepted for store credit in the form of a gift card.
• Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of delivery, in new and unused condition with all original labels/tags attached.
• Items must be unaltered, undamaged and unwashed, while in the customer’s possession.
• Free from any markings, make-up, self tanner, odours, pet hair, perfumes, deodorant and washing powder.
What if your item is faulty?
We hold our products to a very high standard - but if by any chance you have received a faulty item we are sorry and would love to have this resolved for you as soon as possible!
We will offer a full refund, store credit or an exchange (subject to availability) on any item purchased if the garment:
• Has a genuine manufacturing fault; and/or,
• Does not correspond with descriptions given to you
A faulty item claim must be made within 14 days of receiving your item. Please email your order number, a description and photo of the fault to hello@saltrobe.ie. You can expect to hear back from us within 1 - 2 business days.
